CritiqueCode (@critiquedotsh/harness, binary critique-code) is the author agent: it implements, then the controller forces review. The Critique CLI (@critiquedotsh/cli, binary critique) is a sidecar reviewer for agents you already use, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.

Accepted Answer

There is no universal winner. Pick Cursor for an AI IDE, Claude Code or Codex for a vendor CLI, OpenCode or Aider for open-source terminals, and CritiqueCode when the author must survive forced independent review. Human merge judgment still applies.

Should I replace Claude Code with CritiqueCode?

Only if you want Critique to author the change. If Claude Code already writes well for you, keep it and add the Critique CLI sidecar for an independent finish pass.
