About Repath Khan

Founder of Critique. Builder of AI tools for people who ship.

I’m Repath Khan, a young founder from Waterford, Ireland. I build products for developers who want AI to help them ship real software — with speed, taste, and proof. Critique is where that comes together; this page is the builder behind it.

01Thesis

The gap is trust — not generation.

I like building things that feel slightly too early, slightly too ambitious, and very obvious once they exist. AI coding is not a prediction anymore — agents write features, fix bugs, and open pull requests today.

The next wave of developer tools will not be about who generates the most code. It will be about who helps teams trust, understand, and control what AI creates.

The gap

Generation vs. trust

Not seat counts — the widening space between what agents produce and what teams can verify.
02Why I build

Two worlds: practical business and ambitious technology.

I help run a busy takeaway in Waterford — speed, reliability, customers, operations, costs, staff, and pressure are not theory. If something breaks, you feel it immediately.

On the other side, I have spent years building chat platforms, AI research tools, coding agents, and developer infrastructure. I do not like products that only look good in demos. I like products that survive messy real users.

03Beliefs

A young founder from Ireland, serious about the agent shift.

01

Speed matters.

Ship, learn, tighten. Waiting for perfect polish is how good ideas die in private repos.

02

Taste matters.

Developer tools do not have to feel dead. Serious engineering can still have a memorable brand.

03

Trust matters.

AI products need proof, not magic. The next wave wins on control and evidence, not hype.

04

Small teams deserve power.

Leverage used to require entire departments. Agents change that — if the tooling keeps up.

05

Ireland can compete globally.

You do not need to sit in San Francisco with a massive team to build something world-class.

Not polished founder mythology — obsession, execution, taste, and pressure turned into product.

04Approach

Operator instincts. Product taste. Clear thesis.

01

I build like an operator, not just a technologist

Real businesses do not care how clever your architecture is if the workflow is annoying. Developers do not care about your model stack if the output is unreliable. I ask whether a tool makes someone genuinely more dangerous — faster, sharper, less blocked.

02

I care about taste

Infrastructure can feel alive. Crit, the cinematic product language, the agent-worker framing — intentional. In a crowded AI market, technology alone is not enough. You need trust, taste, distribution, and a reason people remember you.

03

I move fast, but I am not building randomly

AI will write more code. Teams will need better ways to review and control it. Cloud coding agents will become normal. The merge boundary will matter more, not less. Critique is the sharpest expression of that thesis — not a side feature.

Founder note

I am early in my journey, but I am not casual about this. I want to build serious products from Ireland that compete globally — young, outside the usual network, building on nights, testing fast.

05Building now

Critique — the expression of the founder vision.

My focus is Critique: a cloud coding agent platform for developers who want AI to help them ship real software, not impressive demos. When developers use agents, Critique should be where work gets checked, improved, controlled, and shipped.

  • Coding agents inside real repositories
  • Sandboxed environments for safer execution
  • Pull request review and repair
  • Model choice instead of model lock-in
  • Traceable agent runs and useful summaries
  • Developer-first workflows that feel fast and modern
06For builders

I am building for people already living in the future.

  • 01The solo founder using agents to ship a SaaS in a weekend
  • 02The small team drowning in pull requests
  • 03The open-source maintainer who needs help reviewing changes
  • 04The agency delivering faster without breaking client projects
  • 05The developer who knows AI is powerful but does not fully trust it yet

Build with me. Follow the work.

Critique is not here to replace serious builders. It is here to give them more leverage.
